Treatments are always administered by an experienced licensed Registered Nurse, and while allergic reactions are very rare, you’ll be monitored closely to ensure your experience is safe and comfortable. These treatments are primarily vitamins (just as one would take orally) and hydration with a few low-risk medications, making them safe and well-tolerated for most individuals.

IVs are administered by a skilled RN with extensive hospital and infusion nursing background. It is the RNs goal to start your IV on the first attempt, but if it’s challenging, professional skills and techniques will be used to try another vein. If unable to start the IV safely after a couple attempts, you won’t be charged for the treatment, but that is rare.

While IV therapy is generally safe, it may not be appropriate for everyone. People with certain medical conditions such as kidney disease, congestive heart failure, uncontrolled high blood pressure, stroke, irregular heartbeat, liver disease, bleeding or clotting disorders, active infection, pregnant, chemotherapy or severe electrolyte imbalances should avoid IV therapy or consult with a healthcare provider first.
